I’m playing vcmi since a few years on windows and now i want to play it on Debian but i can’t find the Download file for a version newer than 1.1.0
Where i can download it?
Hi. As you’ve discovered, VCMI version provided by Debian is rather outdated and we don’t provide downloads for Debian.
You have two options:
- Install vcmi using flatpak: Install VCMI on Linux | Flathub
- Build VCMI on your own. Requires some basic technical knowledge: https://github.com/vcmi/vcmi/blob/develop/docs/developers/Building_Linux.md
Personally I would suggest using flatpak unless you’re against using it.
