How can rate the mods? I didn’t such an option in the lanucher.
From Discord announcement:
In VCMI 1.7.0 Launcher comes with a simple form of mod ranking to help players find more popular (and hopefully - better) mods.
Number that you see in ranking next to mod name is number of people who “starred” mod repository on Github. Everyone is welcomed to do the same and “star” mods that you like.
To do that, you need to:
- Create account on Github if you haven’t already
- Open mod you wish to rank in Launcher
- Click on “Git Repository” link you see in mod description to open mod repository in browser
- Click on “Star” button in top-right corner
Done. Your star will be included into mod ranking during daily update.
Alternatively you can open list of all mod repositories and locate mods you wish to “star” through this list: vcmi-mods repositories · GitHub
This is our first attempt to add mod ranking, so depending on results we’ll consider whether to keep using it in future or whether adjustments or some different system is needed
