i jusr download vcmi 82 and install it over heroes III (russian edition by Buka , no homm3.5)

when i start client i see only message on blank screen - no game (((
OS - Mandriva 32bit wine 1.3 other games playing good , heroes III also.

and i not found any instructions, install man e.tc.

You need Wog (heroes 3.5) to run VCMI. It is possible to remove Wog dependency later but for now you’ll need to install it.

if you want to compile it under Linux read README.linux file

*.dll on linux? Are you running VCMI under Wine? Last time I tried this VCMI worked but was quite unstable. You’d better try to compile it natively. Missing files problem may be connected to Wine - I’ve had some problems with paths in other games. Can be solved by console:
cd path_to_heroes
wine VCMI_client

i don’t have place where i can download 3.5 homm…
i have cd from Fargus but it incompactible …

not try compiling…
