Multiplayer - when host minimize game, other players can not play

Hello all,
we play multiplayer game on iPads, but when the host minimize the game to background, other players can not control the game in anyway.
I was wondering if there is maybe some way to host it on some dedicated server or if some of you have any idea on this.

yes, such behavior is a limitation of iOS

dedicated server would probably work, just run vcmiserver executable on a PC / Mac and connect to that host

Ok, thanks for answer. I have just tried to run server on PC and it really works!
