Hi there, Is there any special way to download new maps to the game installed with a help of VCMI?
Tried typical method to copy new maps (In the Wake of Gods compatible) to /maps folder (Mods/VCMI/maps) but map does not appear in selection menu while creating a new game. Tried different maps from different sites (e.g. https://www.maps4heroes.com/) with no success.
Just copy maps to Maps folder in your main VCMI folder where all other maps are stored. But I don’t recommend to play WoG maps in VCMI, because WoG maps have scripts that vcmi doesn;t understand. RoE/AB/SoD maps are safe to play (at least 99.9% of them).
