Now I’ve uninnstalled HOMM3, because I had to. Just got errors. Now I’m trying to install again, I can’t. I’ve tried autorun.exe, but the setup wont pop up. I’m now copying every file over to disc, and will try to install it like that. BUT if that doesn’t work, anyone have any idea on what I can do? I got Win10, and I’ve tried to run it as “xp sp2”, but that didnt work either
files on H3 CDs are packed in “cab” files by InstallShield. You need a tool to unpack them (f.e. on linux vcmi vcmibuilder uses unshield for that).
Bought the gog version, now it works as it should, but the cd version doesnt
