I played with 1.60 and 1.7.1 on my PC perfectly, couldn’t even run the game after installing the new update 1.7.2 today.
I enabled most of the mods listed in VCMI launcher, but I can’t open the .dmp file to check the reason for crashes. I cannot upload the crashinfo file as a new user, can someone please recommend a viewer application for the file? thanks
Windows PC? Sounds like some broken mod or conflict between two mods that we’re not aware of.
Can you upload file Documents/My Games/VCMI/logs/VCMI_Client_log.txt after the crash?
If you can’t upload files here, you can do it via:
- opening an issue on Github
- on our Discord server
- or by using Google Drive or whatever you use and sharing it from here
.dmp file unfortunately not very useful for us.

Much appreciated for getting back to my ticket. I’ve gone through the Client logs and found the issues were caused by some town mods such as Refugee, Peachville, Ark etc, then I disabled those towns and the client runs ok now. Thank you again and wish you all the best.
