I’ve played 5 games so far, and every one, at some point, developed saves that could not be loaded. I could see and load older saves but my most recent always disappear from the load page. All saves are present in the correct folder, they are simply not available within the game. I am running some mods but all are current, and none conflict with each other.
edit: if I load an old save, then do a quicksave, the missing saves reappear and are available to load.
Hi. Can you upload game log from the run with not accessible saves?
To locate logs you can open Launcher → Help → Game Logs directory. That directory should contain file VCMI_Client_log.txt
I found the log file but it only seems to show my current game. I will see if I can reproduce the behavior and upload the log. Thanks for helping.
What is happening here is if I try to load a game right after the game makes an autosave, the next time you try to load a game, it shows you the contents of the autosave folder with no obvious way to navigate out of it. If I load one of these autosaves, then make a new save, the next time I try to load a game it will look in the main save folder instead of the autosave subfolder. Hope this helps.
