Idea of API in general is not that dead, but not Python.
about GUI script, if I want to send signal or message to client by python,such as mouse move or key down, key up,how can I do to change the client side ? can the qt’s signal slot mechanics solve that ? another is the GUI Object, How Can I add or remove some object by python ?
