I have no recall of hiding computations from the computer completely except with a trusted server or with fully homomorphic encryption (which is just a 'holy grail' of crypto, of which there is no implementation because it would required special drivers or special hardware; because the input has to be decoded once it needs it hits driver level).

It's not mature enough to be used in VCMI ("it is fairly low-level, and is best through of as "assembly language for HE""), but looks promising:)

I managed to install vcmi on Debian in few trials few days ago, but why vcmibuilder do not copy the files into right place? Maybe just add something equivalent to
Code:
sudo cp -R vcmi/ $(vcmiclient -v|grep data|cut -d':' -f2)
to the builder?

Building Qt is a pain. It's worth it. Still, a pain.

I was searching for a long time for proper building Qt apps on linux for windows, but since some time official sources work, just compile them with proper switch:
Code:
-xplatform win32-g++ -device-option CROSS_COMPILE=x86_64-w64-mingw32

Full version of my configure:
Code:
./configure -xplatform win32-g++ -device-option CROSS_COMPILE=x86_64-w64-mingw32- -opensource -no-phonon -nomake examples -nomake demos -nomake docs -nomake tools -openssl -system-zlib -release -static -no-opengl -fast -no-qt3support -no-xmlpatterns -no-multimedia -no-webkit -no-javascript-jit  -no-script -no-scripttools -qt-libpng -qt-zlib -qt-libjpeg -no-openssl -no-nis -no-cups -no-dbus
(most of it is not needed, just for speedup)

Is there any extracted list of what's missing?
vcmi-status document lists only:
Code:
Adventure Spells:
Visions     0
View Earth     0
Disguise     0
View Air     0

Combat Spells     :
Quicksand     0
Land Mine     0
Force Field     0
Fire Wall     0
Earthquake     0
Chain Lightning     0

Campaign:
Saves between missions    0
Moving heroes between maps    0
Support for bonuses:
Hero corssover    0
Starting hero    0

(and it takes a while to filter this from tons of done features:) )

Is it everything?

Having sources is good, having WoG dead is bad. Do this news would change something in VCMI? Maybe reducing relying on WoG as dead project? Or at least creating better and joined installer for WoG and VCMI?
